Care Instructions

Leather loves gentle care. Dust daily with a dry soft microfiber cloth and blot spills immediately-don't rub it. Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, AC vents, and damp corners; during monsoon, keep air moving and wipe any moisture right away. Condition with a quality leather cream 2–3 times a year, let it absorb, then buff it with a cloth by hand; light scratches often soften with a warm fingertip and a touch of cream. Ink or dye transfer needs a professional. Avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol or baby wipes, soaking, or steam; do not cover with plastic. These instructions are not for suede or nubuck—ask us for specific care. Call us for help, if needed.

Product Description

“sketch book scrap” This painting is inspired by the acclaimed Indian filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and his film Tamasha, where the protagonist poignantly declares, “The story will always be the same.” At its core, the artwork reflects the timeless nature of storytelling—how it has endured across generations, cultures, and mediums. The textured walls depicted here evoke the architecture of Rajasthan: weathered yet luminous, symbolic of narratives that persist even through decay. The flower at the center represents the organic growth of storytelling over time, while the one above, set against the Rajasthani wall, reminds us that even when the medium is damaged, the essence of the story remains untouched. Three simple strokes suggest two walls preserved within a sketchbook—an intimate space for the artist, where progress is recorded and stories are held in their rawest, most personal form.
