A multidisciplinary design studio crafting homes with an Indian soul; eclectic, warm, and truly lived-in. We weave art, food, and music into the design plan, guided by Permaculture. Our approach is conscious luxury, so your home feels calm, intentional, and deeply yours.
Cocuzè (pronounced Co-koo-zay) draws inspiration from the word "cocoon," a symbol of transformation, comfort, and sanctuary. Just as a cocoon nurtures metamorphosis, Cocuzè shapes spaces and objects into bespoke sanctuaries; luxurious yet soulful, where design is not only seen but deeply felt.
Beneath the artistry of Cocuzè lies a deeper meaning; design is not merely about aesthetics; it is an emotional language, an unspoken rhythm, a poetry woven into space. Like poetry, great design stirs the soul. It speaks in whispers of texture, in melodies of light and shadow, in verses of balance and contrast.
Cocuzè is a design practice shaped by the vision of Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Hemant. We craft interiors where Indian heritage, nature’s intelligence and refined luxury sit easily together - spaces that don’t just look striking, but feel calming, lived-in and intentional.
We work on both new builds and renovations, bringing the same rigour to planning, materiality, sourcing and styling. As a practice we are selective, partnering with clients who value conscious luxury, so that every project we take on has depth, meaning and soul - the Cocuzè way.
At Cocuzè, product design and curation are extensions of our conscious luxury philosophy. We create, curate and select furniture, art and lifestyle pieces that are rooted in Indian craft - pieces that carry story, emotion and longevity. This is a deliberate, gallery-like curation, not volume retail. Only what aligns with our ethos of heritage, depth and living right makes it in. Within The Atelier, this becomes the space where objects are not just bought, but collected - future heirlooms of soulful design.
Alimento means nourishment. At Cocuzè, that doesn’t stop at food - it includes how we grow, cook, gather and get into the right mood. Alimento - The Table is our way of letting design flow into these everyday rituals of living. It begins with permaculture - working with nature to grow clean, nourishing, chemical-free food - and extends to how that food is cooked, laid out and shared. Here, the table is the hero: a place to gather and slow down.
Because nourishment is also aural, Sound of Cocuzè brings in music as atmosphere - for meals, work, rest or hosting - so the home holds a steady, beautiful mood. Alimento brings design, permaculture, music and conscious living together to make homes more soulful.
At Cocuzè, education is central to our mission of shaping the Design for Living Right.
Our education service goes beyond creative pursuits into the very skills that nurture conscious living. From understanding Biophilia to learning how to grow fruits and vegetables on balconies or terraces. We share knowledge on responsible construction techniques and the use of natural materials.
Equally, Cocuzè encourages exploration of creative disciplines - art, music, craft, and culinary design - as ways to deepen one’s sense of living. We aspire to build a community of people who not only embrace beauty, but also practice mindful, conscious living.
Founder & Chief Creative Officer Hemant brings business rigour and a maker's heart to Cocuzè. He left a high-profile corporate career in America to follow a deeper calling - designing lives, not just spaces. He designs sanctuaries - quietly luxurious, nature-led, unmistakably personal.

Conscious Luxury is the nectar of our design philosophy; distilled from craft, nature, and time - patience to craft, years of use, and the beauty of aging. At Cocuzè, we shape eclectic spaces with an Indian soul - where stone, brass, wood, and light do the talking: never too much, always in balance. Windows and jaalis invite air and morning sun. Nature co-authors the plan: balconies and sills become edible pocket. Fewer elements, placed with care. Homes that breathe before they impress - rooted in heritage, open to the world. Calm first; beauty that lasts.
We design the home so art has a place to belong. Niches wait for sculpture; clear walls steady a painting; views are framed; textures hold the memory. Thresholds slow you; walls listen back. Light is deliberate - soft for paper, warm for bronze. Nothing shouts; everything hosts. When art lives in the bones, the house feels personal, not staged.
Daily life is our brief. The day gathers at the table - steel hisses, knives whisper, spices bloom. From garden to pan to plate, nourishment becomes choreography: home-grown herbs, steady heat, the right tools, linen you want to touch, plates you love to use. ‘Alimento - The Table’ is where it all comes together. Evening exhales; the needle drops. Music isn’t background but belonging - the soft architecture that slows conversation, steadies breath, and lets time unhurriedly unfold.
The Atelier is where conscious luxury takes form. We work slowly so objects can live deeply—honest materials, exact proportions, finishes that welcome touch. Small runs protect character; craft carries provenance. We resist excess: fewer pieces, better made, chosen to mature with time. What leaves the Atelier is calm and certain — modern in ease, timeless in poise. Beauty that stays.
At its heart lies a moth, poised within a cocoon: a symbol of metamorphosis, resilience, and creative evolution. Just as a cocoon shelters transformation before emergence, Cocuzè nurtures spaces that evolve into sanctuaries, filled with soul, warmth, and intention.
Encasing the form is a protective frame, a symbol of comfort, balance, and mindful curation. It reflects how Cocuzè designs interiors that cradle life: where luxury feels intimate, personal, and deeply human.
A subtle yet profound stroke links the moth to the world beyond, a reminder that design is not an island; it is a bridge between inner growth and external expression. Like the spaces Cocuzè crafts, it harmonizes introspection with outward storytelling, weaving personal narratives into physical form.
The surrounding patterns draw inspiration from nature's effortless elegance: the asymmetry of leaves, the softness of flowing water, the quiet strength of organic imperfection. They embody permaculture, sustainability and Cocuzè guiding principle
